There’s a question many of us don’t really want to be asked: “How’s your prayer life going?”
The honest answer would often be an embarrassed “Not very well”. Perhaps it feels a bit stale. Not very regular. Too self-focused. But we know how precious and important prayer is. So where do we turn? How do we fix this?
Being a disciple of Jesus means learning from him with the goal of becoming like him. To transform and improve our prayers, we should start at the very place where Jesus teaches his disciples to “pray like this”.
So let respected Christian author Kel Richards be your guide as he unpacks the Lord’s Prayer by explaining the meaning and significance of its 21 key words.
Kel’s book is packed with practical tips and advice, including how to cultivate one-sentence prayers throughout your day, and encouragement to apply the ‘TAP principle’ of trusting, asking and persisting. You’ll learn to pray not just for yourself but as part of a global family embracing forgiveness and seeking God’s help and protection in a challenging world.
