1 Peter - The Epistles for Kids

"This is the true kindness of God. Stand strong in it!"

The Epistles for Kids is an award-winning, new translation of Peter's first letter in the language of children. Every verse, every chapter, fully illustrated in captivating colour. These are God's Very Special Letters.

Come on a journey with Silvanus as he travels around the region of Turkey to deliver the Apostle Peter's letter to the churches. Meet three children with very different backgrounds, and discover together their privileged place in God's unfolding plan of salvation. Hear the call to shine brightly in a dark world, and be encouraged to endure, just as Peter calls Christians to follow in the way of Christ.

Why The Epistles for Kids: Many children's Bibles skip over the Epistles, or offer only a brief paraphrase. The Epistles for Kids gives children the chance to encounter this Scripture for themselves, translated with serious care from the original language, using words children use every day.

Add a Family Reading Guide: 150+ discussion questions, activities, prayer ideas and deeper insights into the letter. Will be emailed to you as a PDF digital download.

🏆 Winner, 2026 Australian Christian Book of the Year.

"I have been completely persuaded that we need to do everything we can to ensure these brilliant translations get into the hands of as many people as possible, children, parents, grandparents, whole churches, because everyone will benefit from this."
