Just read this article on your son's migraines and I was just wondering if you have tried changing his diet. If you take a look at this website (http://fedup.com.au/)and do a search on migraines you could possibly find something to try for your son. Food could really be the problem especially since your daughter has coeliac disease and migraines run in the family. Just thought this information might help. Sorry if this is a bit off topic.

Sorry, Marisol, I'm not receiving comments in my inbox at the moment so I missed this one!

By "unbelief" I mean what the biblical counsellors would call "functional unbelief". In other words, I say I believe that God is loving and sovereign, but I show that I don't really believe this when I give in to despair and anxiety. In other words, instead of battling them with God's word, struggling to trust God, and bringing my fears to him in prayer, I give way to despair and anxiety, entertain them, and allow them to control my emotions and actions.

I hope that helps make things a little clearer.

In Christ,

Jean.

Thank you so much for this article. I'm not a parent, but I know and love people who are chronically ill, and this article has helped me a lot.
I do have a few questions. In the sentence, 'Or shall I allow it to drive me to God, cast my anxieties on his strong shoulders, and beg him to help me in my unbelief?' What exactly is meant by 'my unbelief'? Then what is meant by 'to help me in my unbelief'?
I look forward to your response. May you and all who work with you be blessed greatly in the work you do. It does have a positive impact. Thank you so much.
